Salem,NH- Amelia P. (Zemis) Morelle,82, died Friday, March 11, 2011 at her home with her loving family by her side.
Born on August 29, 1928 in Lawrence, Amelia was the daughter of Adolf and Veronica Zemis. Amelia was educated in Lawrence and graduated from Lawrence High School. She was a member of the former St. Franics Church in Lawrence and more recently, Mary Queen of Peace in Salem,NH.
For many years, Amelia worked at Stop and Shop in North Andover and Lawrence, as a cashier and then in the Bakery department. Amelia was an avid gardener, and enjoyed dancing and visitng the beach with her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.
Amelia will be deeply missed by her husband of 49 years, Pasquale Morelle, her two children, Lynne Morelle of Salem, NH, and Michael Morelle and his wife Rebecca of Derry, NH, 3 grandchildren, Rachel, Desiree and Ryan, siblings, Adele Penini of Hyanis, and Frank Zemis of Arizona as well as several neices and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her siblings Anne, Charles and John Zemis.
ARRANGEMENTS: Realitives and friends may pay thier respects on TUESDAY, March 15th from 4-7 p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence St., Methuen. A Mass of Christan Burial will take place on Wednesday, March 16th, Time to be announced. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Salem,NH.
