Vincent S. Squillacioti, Sr. of Medford formerly of Revere, died March 10 in Boston following a brief illness. Vincent was born in East Boston the son of the late Victoria (Garafolo) and Alfonso Squillacioti. He served in the US Army during World War II and after his discharge went on to work for the US Postal Service where he remained up until his recent diagnosis, serving nearly 40 years. Vincent enjoyed gardening and an occasional visit to "the track." But above all enjoyed time spent with family and his grandchildren.

Devoted father of Vincent S. Squillacioti, Jr. of Medford and the late Diane Derby.
Loving grandfather of Kerry Derby of Saugus, Michael, Chris and Nick Squillacioti all of Medford. Great grandfather of Matthew Derby. Brother of Joseph Squillacioti of Tewsbury.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Monday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Mary Church, 660 Washington St., Revere, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Sunday 2-6pm.
Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
