Gale H. Dwyer, 75 of Derry, NH, formerly of Woburn died Friday March 11, 2011 at Merrimack Valley Hospice in Haverhill, after a lengthy illness. She was born December 23, 1935 in Montreal, Canada and was a daughter of William and Therese (Viriot) Lilley. She was raised and educated in Canada, and resided for many years in Woburn prior to moving to Derry twelve years ago.
Ms. Dwyer was a manager with Verizon for 26 years, prior to her retirement. She enjoyed knitting, and will long be remembered as a devoted mother, and grandmother who loved her family.
Survivors include: a daughter and her husband, Donna and Paul Yunes of Derry, son Scott Dwyer and his wife Joanne, of Somerville, daughter Laura Keeley and her husband William, Jr. of Wilmington, and son Stephen Dwyer of Tewksbury, six grandchildren, Erin, Katelyn and Paul Joseph Yunes, Michael and Jeffrey Dwyer, and Shannon Keeley, a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Frank Dougherty of Halifax, Nova Scotia, a brother, Donald Lilley of British Columbia, Canada, and several nieces and nephews.
Private services are being planned by the family.
