Obituary

Francis “Fred” Spano Jr, of Carver, passed away at home on March 9th surrounded by his loving family at the age of 52. He is survived by his beloved wife Nancy (Lydon) Spano and his 3 cherished sons Joshua, Michael and Jesse. He also leaves his brother David Spano of Halifax and his sister Rhonda Mitchell of Quincy. Fred was born in Quincy and graduated from Weymouth South High School. He served in the U.S Navy and had worked as a millwright for 19 years, most recently for Dominion Power. Fred enjoyed riding his Harley, watching old movies, fishing, and most of all enjoyed spending time with his family. Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth on Monday March 14th from 3 to 7 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday March 15th at 9 AM followed by burial at the National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations in his memory be made to The Home Foundation, P.O Box 50165, Nashville, TN 37205.
