Eric S. DeCarolis, 38, of Londonderry, NH, passed away on Wednesday March 9, 2011 at his home. He was born in Lowell, MA on March 23, 1972, a son of Philip and Janet (MacLaren) DeCarolis and had been a resident of Londonderry for the past 32 years. He was educated in the Londonderry School System and earned his automotive certification at Nashua Tech. Eric worked as a Licensed Master Electrician. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and especially his time spent at Deering Lake. Eric also enjoyed motor sports and motocross. He had built a track with his friends in his back yard. Eric performed a lot of donated electrical work for the Londonderry Police Department and for that he had earned a civic duty accommodation. He was a member of the Rocky's Rangers Organization and loved animals, especially his dogs. Eric was a devilish prankster who was good for and enjoyed a good laugh. He enjoyed having a good time
He is survived by his parents; Philip and Janet (MacLaren) DeCarolis of Londonderry, two brothers; David C. DeCarolis and his wife Kimberly of Litchfield, NH and Christopher A. DeCarolis and his wife Rachel of Londonderry, a sister; Carol-ann M. Braun and her husband Stephen of N. Hollywood, CA, his nieces and nephews; Kendra, Hope and Logan DeCarolis and Beckett Braun. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his dog; Mya.
Visiting hours were held on Sunday, March 13, 2011 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday at 11:00AM in St. Marks Church, corner of South Road and Mammoth Rd., Londonderry.
