Harry R. Dowling age 81 formerly of Greenland, NH & Tenants Harbor , ME of Canton, MA passed away March 10th at the High Gate Manor in Dedham. Born in Boston, he was educated in Hampton, N.H. and was an Army Veteran of the Korean War where he served in the Signal Corp. He was the owner and operator of J’s Trailer Sales in Rye, NH for many years. He was an active member of the Town of Greenland where he was previously a member of the Board of Selectman and the Planning Board and was also the Past Master of the Mason Lodge in Portsmouth, N.H. He was also a former member of the Planning Board in Tenants Harbor, ME. Beloved husband of Joan G. (Burke). Father of Joanne H. Dowling of CA & Janet R. Corcoran & her husband Paul of Canton. Grandfather of Daniel, David & Paul Corcoran. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Sunday 4-6 pm. Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral service at the funeral home Monday morning at 10. Burial will be in Greenland Cemetery, Greenland, NH. at a later date.
