Janet Louise (Pachlhofer) Reardon 72, of Milford, and a former Bellingham resident, passed away peacefully at Milford Regional Medical Center on Monday March 7, 2011 from a courageous battle with leukemia, in the arms of her loving daughter Robin, and surrounded by those who she loved and loved her unconditionally. She was the wife of the late William R. “Bobby” Reardon, who died in 2000.
Born in Columbus, Ohio December 1, 1938 a daughter of the late Bernard and Martha (Perkins) Pachlhofer, she was raised in Ohio, and was a 1956 graduate of the Peabody School in Norwood.
She was a retired health aide for the Milford VNA. She was a member of the Milford Senior Citizens, and loved reading, travel, and camping. She was described by those closest to her as a sweet, kind, gentle soul who loved her children and family dearly. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, her quirky sense of humor, and her infectious laugh.
She is survived by 2 sons; James T. Reardon of Worcester, William R. Reardon of Millbury, her daughter Robin L. Reardon of Milford, with whom she lived, a sister Theresa A. Kussmaul of Indialantic, Florida, and her only grandchild Christopher R. Tocci, with whom she shared a very special relationship and regarded as the apple of her eye, and often referred to him as her reason for being alive.
She was also the sister of the late; Robert E., James B., Charles A. Pachlhofer and Marilyn C. Novick.

Interment will follow in the family lot at Scott Cemetery in Bellingham.
