Vivian C. “Vickie” Smith, 41, of Wray died Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, March 11, 2011 at Wray Holiness Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Willingham and Rev. Daniel Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Wray Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 Thursday Evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Smith was born July 5, 1969 in Orlando, Florida to Vivian Smith Nichols and the late Randall Lamar Nichols. She lived in the community since 1984, attending Fitzgerald High School. Mrs. Smith was a former dental assistant for Dr. Debbie Dismuke and Dr. Jean Rachels. She was a former pianist and organist for Taft Church of God in Taft, FL and former pianist for her junior high school Glee Club in Orlando, FL. Mrs. Smith was a member, pianist, youth leader and counselor at Wray Holiness Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband: Andy Smith of Wray; daughter & son-in-law: Marie & Justin Willingham of Wray; son: Anthony “Bubba” Smith of Wray; mother: Vivian S. Nichols of Fitzgerald; brothers and sisters-in-law: Randall & Diane Edwards of Rogers, Arkansas and Jamie & April Nichols of Fitzgerald; sister and brother-in-law: Cheryl & Randy Hippensteel of Fitzgerald; mother-in-law: Linda Diane Smith of Douglas as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Carl J. Smith and brother-in-law, Lyndon C. Smith.
