Also survived by 9 grandchildren, Deena, Jason, Leeann, Beth, Bridget, Amanda, Garrett, Zachary and Vance and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in St. Casimir Church at 10 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Obituary
Mrs. Cook died Monday morning at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton after a brief illness. Born in Brockton, daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Weston) Boyd. Life long resident of Brockton. Graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1931 and graduate of LPN school and worked as a nurse until her marriage and stayed home to raise her family.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening and she was an avid Bruins and Red Sox Fan. Communicant of St. Casimir Church.
She is survived by a son, Joseph Cook of Norton; three daughters, Monica Cook of Brockton, Geraldine Matteson of Taunton and Elizabeth Turner of Duxbury, nine grandchildren, Deena, Jason, Leeann, Beth, Bridget, Amanda, Garrett, Zachary and Vance, three great grandchildren, a brother in law Camille Sante of Whitman.
Wife of the late Alphonse Cook and sister of the late Josephine Sante.
