Sheila A. Halloran, 58 of Londonderry, NH died Sunday March 6, 2011 at home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Halloran was born February 19, 1953 in Cambridge, MA, a daughter of the late Joseph and Ann (MacGillivray) Doiron. She was raised and educated in the Cambridge area, and was a graduate of Matignon High School. She has been a resident of Londonderry for the past 25 years.
Mrs. Halloran spent most of her working life in banking, working for several area banks, in various capacities. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, and will be remembered for the love she bestowed on family and friends.
Members of the family include her husband of 37 years, Jerry Halloran, of Londonderry, NH, two sons, Richard F., and Daniel J. Halloran both of Londonderry, a daughter and her future wife, Christine Y. Halloran and Andrea Tortolano of Wakefield, MA, a granddaughter Alexa, 5 siblings, Susan M. Murphy and husband Ken of Wakefield, MA, Joseph Doiron and wife Susan of Billerica, MA, Ann Marie Doiron of Wakefield, MA, Paula Roycroft of Woburn, MA and Nancy Pearson of York, ME. As well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation was held Tuesday March 8th from 4pm to 8pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium 290 Mammoth Road Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday at 11am at St. Mark‘s Church, corner of Mammoth and South Road Londonderry. A private springtime committal of her cremated remains will be held at Pillsbury Cemetery of Londonderry.
