Myrtle E. Locey, 81, of New Boston, IL passed away at 3:50pm Thursday March 3, 2011 at St. Clare home in Peoria Heights, IL.
She was born on October 4, 1929 in Salina, KS the daughter of Benjamin and Laura Folkner Ferguson. She married LeRoy E. Locey on April 24, 1947 in Aledo.
Surviving are her children William Locey of Wilton, IA; Linda Blackert of Peoria, Michael Locey, Jerold Locey both of Arizona, Laurie Locey of Bucyrus, OH, Carol Brodersen of Cedar Rapids, IA, Joseph Locey of Cameron Missouri, Donna Peterson of Chatfield, OH and Krista Cochran of Bucyrus, OH. Also surviving are 52 grandchildren as well as 96 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by one son Jerry Locey, 3 brothers and one half sister.
She was a member of Central Assembly of God church in Joplin, MO.
Cremation Rites have been accorded with her remains to be scattered upon her grandmother’s grave.
