Sandra Davis Bailey, age 69, Douglas, GA passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Bailey was born on January 9, 1942 to the late Shelby Walker and Mary Thomas Davis. Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Bailey. She was employed as a relief pharmacist for several pharmacies. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2011 and interment will follow in the Douglas City Cemetery. Survivors include: sons: Lane Bailey, John Bailey and David Bailey, all of Douglas, GA; daughter: Mari Horton, Palm Beach Gardens, FL; grandchildren: Shelbi, Atlanta, GA, Bren Bailey, Athens, GA, Coltin Bailey and Rhett Bailey, Douglas, GA; The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 4, 2011 at Sims Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
