DANIELS - Larry Daniels, 72, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the Community Hospice Earl B. Hadlow Center in Jacksonville, FL. He was born May 4, 1938 in New Kensington, PA and moved to the Jacksonville – Orange Park, FL area 30 years ago from New Kensington.
He was a member of the Church at Argyle. He was an extremely avid reader and enjoyed cooking and traveling. Larry traveled all over the world as a management consultant. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was also a Pittsburg Steelers fan and a Jacksonville Jaguar fan.
Larry was predeceased by his brother, Ed Daniels and his parents, Edward and Beatrice Daniels.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Darlene Daniels of Orange Park, FL; four sons, Brad (Kirstie) Searcy of Orange Park, FL, Bruce (Lynn) Daniels of New Kensington, PA, Glenn (Marie) Daniels of Pittsburg, PA and Mark (Judy) Daniels of New Kensington, PA; a brother, Bill (Donna) Daniels of Pittsburg, PA; 10 grandchildren, five great grandchildren; and his faithful dogs, Chauncy and Lucy.
There will be a memorial service at 12 Noon Sunday, March 13, at the Church at Argyle with Rev Rick Painter officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to either the American Heart Association or Community Hospice of N. E. Florida.
