Luleen Torrence Dodd Frost, 87, of Lexington, Kentucky died Wednesday, December 24, 2003, at Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington, KY.
Graveside services will be held 9 A.M. Sunday, January 18, 2004, at Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald with Rev. Randy Kesler officiating.
Mrs. Frost was born in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Wright and Aileen Torrence. She was a graduate of Georgia Women’s College and she attended Columbia University. She served in World War II as a member of the Red Cross in Germany and Hawaii. She served as the Executive Director of the American Red Cross of Rome, GA until retiring in 1983, and she was a long time member of First Presbyterian Church of Rome, GA.
Survivors include: Sister, Carol Torrence Matthews (Mrs. W.L. Matthews), Lexington, KY; Niece, Camille Matthews, Farmington, NM; Grand-Niece, Lisa M. Schwert, Arlington, VA; Cousin, Ansel Bagget, Hilton Head, SC; Sister-in-Law, Margaret Dodd Funderburk, LaGrange, GA; Four Step-Daughters, Betty Frost Bruce, Sue Forest Chastain, and Nancy Frost Riggs, all of Atlanta, and Carol Frost Thomson, Rome. Her Husband, Horace Frost, preceded Mrs. Frost in death.
