Marco Federico, age 85 of Medford passed away Sunday morning following a brief illness. Born in Boston he was the son of the late Concetto and Rosa Federico. Marco was the beloved husband of the late Bessie (Scalafani) Federico. He was a Medford resident for over twenty years formerly of Boston´s North End. He work for over thirty years as a cement finisher for the Vapi Construction Co. formerly of Cambridge. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, Attn. Mr. Federico is survived by his children; Richard M. Federico of Lexington, Alfred A. Federico of Medford and Dorothy Almonte of Medford. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He preceded in death by his brothers, Alfred and Frank Federico.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Wednesday at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church 118 High St. Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
