LEICESTER; Ero A. Sundstrom, 81, of 100 So. Main St., died Tuesday, March 1 at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 17 years, Nancy J. (Hadley) Sundstrom, two sons, Scott E. Sundstrom of Worcester, and Gary W. Sundstrom of Charlton, two daughters, Deborah L. Williams and her husband David of Rutland, and Karin E. Girard and her husband Chuck of Cherry Valley, a brother, Ernest Sundstrom and his wife Tally of Leicester, a step-son, David R. Courtemanche and his wife M. Katherine of Mocksville, N.C., a step-daughter, Brenda J. Brackett of Winchendon, 14 grand and great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his first wife Sonja E. (Salomaa) Sundstrom in 1993 and his sister, Elsie Snickers.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of Axel E. & Greta (Jutila) Sundstrom. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School.
Mr. Sundstrom was the owner/operator of Inland Divers in Leicester for 43 years.
He served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He was a longtime building contractor in Leicester for many years and had built many homes in the area. He loved scuba diving, gardening and his pets.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 5 at 10 A.M. in the MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Leicester with Military Honors.
