MALDEN: William Arthur Bernier, 56, formerly of Beverly, died Saturday, February 26, 2011 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. He was surrounded by his family and beloved friend, Donna Grose.
Born in Beverly on March 29, 1954, he was the son of the late Carl J. and Hilda A. (Kallenberg) Bernier. He graduated from Central High School in Manchester, New Hampshire, and attended St. Anslem’s College.
He was a member of the New England Carpenter’s Union. His love of boating, fly-fishing, the ocean, and all of nature enriched his life.
Bill is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Carole Bernier of Boise, ID, Carlene and Azor Roundy of Beverly, Linda Bernier Gallagher of East Rutherford, NJ, James and Janet Bernier of Manchester, NH, Barbara and Frank Nugent of Bedford, NH and Susan and Christopher O’Connor of Hillsboro, NH, and many nieces and nephews.
At the request of the family, services will be held privately.
