Obituary

Auburn: Robert A. Perry, 81 died Feb. 27, 2011. He leaves 3 sons all of Florida. Richard, Ronnie, and Robert & Bonita and a grandchild, Joshua. He also leaves a sister, Irene Cox. He was predeceased by two brothers, Bill and Franny Perry and two sisters, Doris Cronin and Anne Schiavone. He also leaves a long-time friend, Helen Vangsness.

Robert was born in Watertown, MA, son of Wilfred and Teresa (Robinson) Perry. He attended St. Peters School. Bob served in the Korean War with the 3rd Infantry Division. He has a Combat Infantry Badge and a Bronze Star. He retired from the Army Reserve in 1963 as a Sergeant 1st Class. For some years he owned a restaurant called Bob & Arlene's and owned Cab #77. He worked many years with the Tetley Tea Co.

Calling hours at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester are from 4-6 p.m. Friday March 4, 2011. A Memorial funeral Mass will be held on Saturday March 5th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church 570 Lincoln St. Worcester. Burial will be at a later date.
