Beverly E. Hill, 68, of 14 Country Side Circle died February 4, 2002 in the Lakes Region General Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Manchester on July 31, 1933, the daughter of Maurice and Bernice (McNay) Clark.
She had resided in several seacoast area communities of New Hampshire and Maine. Prior to her relocation to Belmont in October of 2001, she was a resident of San Diego, CA for more than 22 years.
A one-time employee of the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, she was employed by the U.S. Navy as a Procurement Clerk in San Diego until her retirement in 1992.In her earlier years she was active in the Order of the Eastern Star.
Family members include a daughter, Lisa (Hill) Dagenais and her husband, David of Dover NH; two sons, Alan Raitt of Woodsville NH and Glenn T. Raitt and his wife, Kara of Belmont; five grandchildren; a brother, Colin Clark of Sanford NH; nieces and nephews.
There are no funeral services. A private memorial gathering will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Community Health & Hospice, 780 North Main St. Laconia NH 03246. The Simoneau & Lambert Funeral Home, 139 Church St., Laconia is assisting the family with arrangements.
