Manchester-Anita L. Cyr, 85, a resident of Manchester, and most recently a resident of Mount Carmel Nursing Home died suddenly at Catholic Medical Center on February 26, 2011.
She was born in Manchester on August 26, 1925 one of fifteen children to Hercule and Rose (Champagne) Pinard.
She was a lifetime resident of Manchester and attended local schools.
She worked for many years for Myrna Shoe and Guttman –Kessler Shoe. She was a very devout Catholic and an extremely giving person.
She was the wife of Clifford Cyr who predeceased her on January 15, 1988.
Family members include her sister Lena Zarakotas of Manchester, two brothers, Omer Pinard of California, Emile J. Pinard of Manchester, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In Her Life: She also leaves her longtime special friend and caregiver, Thomas Landry of Manchester.
Services: Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St..
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 AM in Mt Carmel Nursing Home Chapel, 235 Myrtle St. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
