Obituary

WEBSTER – Frank A. Marshall, 95, of Wyman Street, died Sunday, February 27, 2011 in Lanessa Extended Care. His wife of over 50 years, Rose (Polissack) Marshall, died in 2009.

He leaves a son, Terence T. Marshall and his wife Wendy A. Marshall of Webster, with whom he lived; 2 grandsons, Frank A. Marshall and Jeffrey J. Marshall; 10 great grandchildren; a sister, Ethel Casey of Shrewsbury; nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters.

He was born in London, England, the son of Charles and Lily (Hooper) Marshall and lived in England until moving to this area in 1954.

He served in British Army in World War II.

Mr. Marshall was a machinist at O. S. Walker Company in Worcester for 26 years before he retired in 1983.

The family would like to thank the staff at Lanessa Extended Care and also the staff at Family Services on Harvard Street in Worcester for their compassionate care for Frank.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 3, in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street. Burial will be private. A calling period will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Thursday before the service. Donations in his name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Support Network, PO Box 839, Southbridge, MA 01550-0839.
