BEIJING, CHINA Autumn Reine Garran, the three month old daughter of Thomas A. Garran and Holly Wu, of Beijing, China, died unexpectedly at home in Beijing, on Feb 2, 2011. She was the baby sister of Sun Hao-chi, of Beijing and Aralia and Mara Garran of Wisconsin. Autumn Reine’s grand-parents are Wu Qing-rong and Wang Shu-ying of Beijing and Tamson and Sheila Garran of Brewster, MA. She is also survived by her paternal great grandmother Mildred Garran of North Truro and her loving uncle and aunt Steven and Rhonda Garran of Eastham, MA. In addition, she has cousins in China and America.
Services were held in China on February 13, 2011.
As an expression of gratitude for their beautiful daughter and as a way to benefit other children, Thomas and Holly have developed a partnership with a local orphanage that owns a tract of farmland / orchard. A learning garden for the children of the orphanage and other schools will be built and dedicated to Autumn Reine.
