Cynthia "Cindy" J. Brow, 48, of Medford, MA, formerly of Vernon, CT, died peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends and her beloved dog Casey after a short battle with cancer.
Born in Hartford, CT on February 27, 1962 to John and Elizabeth Brow of Vernon, Cindy was voted most popular in junior high. She graduated from Rockville High School with the class of 1980. She continued her education at Bay Path Junior College, East Longmeadow, earning her Associates Degree in 1982. She moved to Boston over 20 years ago and landed impressive jobs as senior administrative assistant to vice-presidents of elite corporations, most recently at Fidelity Investments. Cindy was an avid athlete, dominating in softball and golf. She loved boating and her beloved Red Sox.
Besides her parents, Cindy is survived by her loving companion and partner of many years, Sal Longo of Medford along with family, friends and colleagues from the Boston area.Her surviving siblings, Gary and Sharon Brow of Vernon, Cheryl and Dennis McDonald of Tolland and John "Jay" Brow of Ellington, will miss her dearly. Other surviving family members include nephew Jake and nieces Corrine, Jesse, Stephanie, and Carly. Besides her aunts and numerous cousins, Cindy had long-time friends from the Vernon area who remained loyal and devoted.
Sal's loving family and siblings who Cindy considered her second family stood by her with the greatest care since she became ill. Cindy is predeceased by her two loving dogs Kahn and Mugsy.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Sunday, February 27th from 4 thru 8 PM and on Monday at the Ladd, Turkington and Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road, Route 83, Vernon, CT from 4 thru 6PM Services will conclude Tuesday March 1, with a graveside service at 11 AM in St. Bernard Cemetery, Rockville, CT.
