TEWKSBURY, MA: H. Lincoln Mulno, III, age 80, of Tewksbury, MA and Eastport, ME, died at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA on Thursday, February 24, 2011, after a short illness.
He was the beloved husband of Mildred (Carlen) Mulno, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage.
Born in Lowell on July 19, 1930, he was the son of the late Herbert L. Mulno, Jr. and Carolyn (Bell).
Lincoln was raised in Tewksbury and graduated from Tewksbury High School in 1948.
He and his father bred and raised award winning turkeys at their Wamesit Turkey Farm and Country Store. His specialty was delicious turkey pies, which were sorely missed when he retired.
In addition, Mr. Mulno was a fine carpenter, who built his own home.
He avidly followed the Boston Red Sox, and had a fine collection of Red Sox hats and sweatshirts.
During his retirement, Mr. Mulno devoted much of his time to raising English bulldogs and he was particularly proud when "Blossom" earned her championship status.
Mr. Mulno was a member of the discussion group at Bay City Garage in his beloved Eastport, ME, where Jim Lowe and Dennis Lincoln were among his special pals.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Mulno is survived by his children, H. Lincoln, IV and his wife Patricia, Susan Mulno and her husband Cliff Cronis, Sarah Ambrosio and her husband Glenn all of Tewksbury and Amanda Craig and her husband Gary of Eastport, ME; seven grandchildren, Alexander Cronis, Derek Cronis, Katie Mulno, Scott Mulno, Joshua Ambrosio, Jessica Ambrosio and Justin Craig; one sister, Carol Colmer and her husband William of Tewksbury; his sister-in-law, Eileen (Krenzer) Mulno of Washington, D.C.; eleven nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Leslie Estrella and her husband Jeff of Tewksbury; also his last bulldog, "Pearl".
Mr. Mulno was the brother of the late Bruce Mulno.
At his request, arrangements are private. There will be a memorial gathering at a later date.
