Winchester, MA-Gilberte R. Clement, 89, died February 19, 2011 at the Winchester Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born in Nashua, NH on January 24, 1922 the daughter of Rodolphe and Yvonne (Auclair) Bedard and had been a resident of Manchester, NH most of her life.
She had worked for the Boston and Maine Railroad then for the City of Manchester, NH in the Assessors Office.
She was a Breast Cancer Survivor, volunteered at Catholic Medical Center and was an avid card player.
She was predeceased by her husband Urbain Clement on April 22, 1979.
Members of her family include her daughter Mrs. Charles (Charlotte) Pichette of Winchester, MA., two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one brother Roger Bedard of Chesapeake, VA., two sisters Lucille Richard of Manchester and Estelle Phelps of Stratford, CT, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St., Manchester, NH. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 AM in Parish of the Transfiguration. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
