Mr. Aubrey Eugene “Gene” Hill, age 58, of Pinnacle, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at his home. He was born in Forsyth County on December 7, 1952 to Aubrey Lee Hill and Violena Coon Hill. Mr. Hill worked as a Long Haul Truck Driver for over 35 years, a member of Pinnacle Volunteer Fire Department, and was a member of Pinnacle Baptist Church. Mr. Hill is survived by his wife, Teresa P. Hill of Byesville, Ohio; four daughters and a son-in-law, Shannon and Craig Halfman of Forest, Va., Christy Hill of Pilot Mountain, Ashley Hill of Winston-Salem and Angie Hill of Byesville, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Savannah Williams, Brycen McIntyre, Carter Halfman, Addison Halfman, Amber Craver, Dalton Craver and Preston Craver; his parents, Aubrey and Violena Hill of Pinnacle; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Carolyn and Kenny Stone of Pinnacle and Arlene Manderville of Pinnacle. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Pinnacle Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M with the Rev. Carl Whittaker officiating with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 from 6-8 PM at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
