Bennett, James (Jim) Herbert, Age 84, went to be in the comfort of the Lord on Saturday, February 19, 2011 while surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his son Donald Steven Bennett, grandson Kevin Scott Chamblin and parents Herbert and Grace Sue Bennett and brother Donald Wesley Bennett. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Evelyn Maddrey Bennett, son James Gregory Bennett, daughters; Vickie Latham, Cindy Castleberry and Judy Hale, sister Margaret Frances Sills, 13 grandchildren; Andy Bennett, Christen Bennett Babb, T.J. Bennett, Josh Bennett, Jennifer Bennett, Jacob Bennett, Jason Latham, Jimmy Latham, Rusty Castleberry, Angela Castleberry, Kevin Chamblin, Megan and Luke Hale and eight great grandchildren. Mr. Bennett founded Energy Conservation Systems, Inc in 1977. He was an active Gideon and former member of Hendersonville Baptist Church and Judson Baptist Church in Nashville, TN. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Feb.22, 2011 at Ellis Funeral Home at 7PM. The family will receive friends from 5Pm until time of service.
