Christopher D. Snell, 47, of Medway & formerly of Orange, CT died February 19 in his home following a long illness. He was the husband of Kelly Anne (Smith) Snell.
Born in New Haven, Connecticut, the son of Judith (McDermott) Snell of Milford, CT and the late Robert Snell, Mr. Snell was raised in Orange and had lived in New York and New Jersey prior to moving to Medway 5 years ago.
Mr. Snell was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in West Haven, CT and had attended the University of Southern Connecticut.
Mr. Snell was the Regional Vice President of Whole Foods at the time of his death.
Mr. Snell loved to cook and was an avid Red Sox fan.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his sons, Brian and Conor Snell, both of Medway.
He is also survived by his siblings, Ninette Snell of Arizona, the Rev. Francis Snell of New Haven, Thomas Snell of Orange, CT, Bridget Bernetsky of Oxford, CT, Jessica Snell of Warwick, RI, Janet Snell of Milford, CT and David Snell of Patterson, NY.
His memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 23 in St. Brendan’s Church Bellingham at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Fl. Brookline, MA 02445.
