Mary Louise King Bainbridge, 90, of Fitzgerald, GA died Saturday, February 19, 2011, at Life Care Center.
Graveside services will be private at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, Alabama.
Mrs. Bainbridge was born March 11, 1920 in Birmingham, AL to the late Cleveland Clinton and Magnolia Wingard King. A former employee of Birmingham Credit Union and Merchant’s Credit Bureau in Mobile, she was a homemaker for most of her life. A former resident of Montgomery, AL and Mobile, AL, she moved to Fitzgerald in 2009. While in Alabama, she was a member of the Woman’s Club of Mobile, Whitfield United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women in Montgomery, and the Garden Club of Mobile.
She is survived by daughter Robbie A. Freeman of Fitzgerald; Son, John H. Bainbridge of Gulf Breeze, FL; grandchildren; Karen and Roger Lott of Glennville, GA and Kelly Norton of Fitzgerald; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Evie Mae Davidson of Dothan, AL and Gladys Hill of Holiday, FL. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband C.R. Bainbridge and 2 brothers.
