Robert C. Seaver, who grew up in Carver and raised his family in Plymouth, died suddenly on February 17th at Beth Israel at the age of 39. Robert is survived by his beloved wife Fusako Seaver of Plymouth. He was the devoted father of Takuya “TK” Seaver of Plymouth and the son of Pamela Seaver of Melbourne, FL and the late Kenneth L. Seaver. He also leaves his brothers Kenny of Atlanta, GA; Mark of Plymouth, John of Belchertown; his sister Diana Gottlieb of Boca Raton, FL and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Robert was born in Plymouth and graduated from Carver High School. He was a union carpenter for Local 67 and was serving in the US Air Force. He enjoyed sports, especially baseball and had coached little league for the past 2 years, making it to the championships both years. In his youth, he earned the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America, Eagle Scout. His greatest joy was spending time with his son.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 24th at the United Methodist Church at 10 AM followed by burial at Center Cemetery in Carver. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations in his memory be made to the Takuya Seaver Benefit Account, c/o Rockland Trust, 1 Pilgrim Hill Rd, Plymouth, MA 02360.
