Winifred Elizabeth "Win" (Staub) Gray of South Natick passed away on February 18, 2011. She was 92 years old and the beloved wife of the late John Richard "Jack" Gray.
Born in New York, N.Y., Win was the daughter of the late Frederick and Florence Staub. She was raised and educated in North Arlington, N.J. and went on to graduate from the Newark Preparatory School. Win was an executive retiree having worked for many years with the Manpower Corporation. An avid boater, she was a member of the Watertown Yacht Club, the New England Cruisers, and the United States Power Squadron. Win was also a tireless volunteer at the Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick where she was a past president of the Auxiliary and also managed the hospital gift shop. She was also a member of the Natick Women's Club, a volunteer for the American Red Cross,a very active member of the Eliot Church in South Natick, and a member of the Shakespeare Club. In addition to her love for boating Win was also an avid bridge player.
Win is survived by her sister, Marie Staub Kennedy of Fairhaven and many loving nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Frederick Staub and Robert Staub.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Win's family on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM in the Eliot Church, 45 Eliot St. (Rt. 16) South Natick. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow a short period of fellowship in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington.
