Pamela M. Dina, 91, of Litchfield, NH, died Friday February 18, 2011, in the Hanover Hill Health Care Center, Manchester, NH. She was born in Liverpool, England, on December 3, 1919, daughter of the late Kenneth and Mary (Graham) Barfield. Pamela grew up in England and she loved the Beatles. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years in the Connecticut area. Pamela enjoyed volunteering and spent 10 years volunteering in the Londonderry Library and in the Hooksett School for 8 years. She was honored as “volunteer of the year” while in her 80’s. Pamela was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling and gardening. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and she lived her life to the fullest. The most important thing in her life was spending time with her family.
She is survived by three children; Margaret Walters of Litchfield, Linda Peters of Shelton, CT and Kenneth S. Dina and his wife Phyllis of Hooksett, NH, four grandchildren; Christopher Walters and his wife Jennifer, Bryan Dina and his wife Jamie, Jennifer Gianunzio and her husband Adam and Stephanie Peters, three great-grandchildren and also by nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Stephan N. Dina and by a grandson; Eric Walters.
Following cremation calling hours were held on Monday, February 21, 2011 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A memorial service followed at 4:00pm in the funeral home. In honor of Pamela’s love of animals the family asks that memorial contributions may be made to the NHSPCA - SOS Fund, P.O.
