Obituary

Sheila M. (O’Sullivan) Redmond, 76, of East Walpole died February 17 in Norwood Hospital. She was the wife of Chester I. Redmond.
Born in Boston, June 26, 1934, the daughter of the late Thomas F. O’Sullivan and Elizabeth (Buckley) O’Sullivan, and step daughter of the late Kathleen (Field) O’Sullivan. Mrs. Redmond had lived in West Roxbury prior to moving to East Walpole 32 years ago.
Mrs. Redmond had been a secretary for the General Electric Company and also had worked as a customer service representative for General Foods.
Sheila loved the beach and Cape Cod but she got her most enjoyment when she was with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Donna Sneider and her husband Rich of East Walpole and her sons, Thomas of Needham and James of East Walpole.
She is also survived by her sister Kathleen Sullivan of Walpole and her grandchildren, Richie, Caroline and Brayden.
She was the sister of the late Betty Fiorenza and was the loving aunt of Ann Langenfeld and Joseph Fiorenza.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 22 from the Ginley Funeral Home 892 Main St. Walpole at 8:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church at 9:00 a.m.
Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:45 p.m.
Visiting hours will be on Monday from 4-7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard St., Alexandria, VA 22311.
