New Bedford- Alice (Mello) Rebello age 90, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness. Alice was the wife of the late William Rebello. Mrs. Rebello was the mother of Robert W Rebello and his wife Bernadette of Fairhaven. Alice was the sister of the late Mary Pacheco and Manuel Mello Jr. She was the grandmother of Jessica, Johnathan, Jalysa and Jaylene Rebello. Alice was the great grandmother of Thomas, Taylor. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
. Mrs. Rebello was the daughter of the late Mary (Costa) and Manuel Mello. She was born in New Bedford MA, and lived in this area all of her life. Alice was formerly employed as clothing inspector at Berkshire Hathaway
Mrs. Rebello’s funeral will be Tuesday at the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. at 8:45 A.M. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St Joseph Church Fairhaven, at 10 A.M. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery. Visitating hours will be Monday from 2 - 5 P.M. Family and friends are invited
