Stella (Dachowski) Desfosses, 88, of Auburn, died January 7, 2004, at Villa Crest, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Manchester, June 1, 1915, she was the daughter of Alec and Pauline (Klepacz) Dachowski. She moved to Cambridge, MA in 1938, and then to Boston, MA in 1951. She had been a resident of Auburn, NH since 1955.
Mrs. Desfosses was a communicant of St. Peter Church in Auburn.
She was married to Rene R. Desfosses, who died in 1998.
Family members include four sons, Robert J. Desfosses of Auburn, Roland P. Desfosses of San Miguel, CA, Joseph R. Desfosses of Manchester, and Michael J. Desfosses of Bradford; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a brother, Matthew Dachowski of Manchester; many nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday January 12, 2004 in St. Peter Church, Auburn. Burial followed in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Bedford.
