Augusta, GA---Mr. Coyle Marcus Harmon, Sr., 67, entered into rest on Monday, February 14, 2011 at University Hospital.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 18, 2011 at the Fairview Presbyterian Church, 1101 Carolina Avenue, N. Augusta, SC, with Dr. Robert F. Fuller, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends following the services, in the Church fellowship hall.
Mr. Harmon was a native of Augusta and was a 1961 graduate of Richmond Academy. He was the youngest, of three children, born to the late Cornelius and Elizabeth Pardue Harmon. Mr. Harmon was employed with Georgia Natural Gas, for 31 years and with John Deere Manufacturing, for 10 years. He was an avid Confederate Reenactor, hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his sons, Coyle M. Harmon, Jr. and wife Laurie and Troyce Harmon and wife Kerrie, all of North Augusta, SC, brother, Cornelius Harmon of Stone Mountain, GA, sister, Nelda Floyd and husband John of Lawrenceville, GA and three grandchildren, Duncan Harmon, Tanner Harmon and Stephen Harmon.
