Larry D. Ryals, 59, of Pekin formerly of Lincoln passed away on February 13, 2011 at OSF St, Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born on September 22, 1951 in Lincoln the son of Luther and Erma Fulk Ryals Sr.
Surviving is one daughter Lori D. Ryals living in Louisiana, two sisters Sheila M. Spickard wife of Robert L. of Lincoln, and Debbie K. Kramer wife of John F. of Delavan, IL. Two brothers Russell E. Ryals and Robert E. Hall both of Decatur. His parents, two brothers Luther Ryals Jr. and Billy Hall, preceded him in death.
Larry was a US Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He later worked for many companies with mobile entertainment. He was also a chef at various restaurants in Louisiana for many years. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Fan, he had a great sense of humor, and was very loving and loved his family.
Cremation rites have been accorded with a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be given to the American Diabetes Foundation or to the American Heart Association.
