Obituary

BEVERLY: Patricia A. (Connell) Dolph, 83, died peacefully at her home on Monday, February 14, 2011. She was the wife of the late Lawrence A. “Larry” Dolph who died in 2010.
Born in Natick on July 14, 1927, she was the daughter of the late James and Rae (Meslis) Connell. Pat was a graduate of the Tenacre Country Day School in Wellesley, Wellesley High School class of 1944 and received her B.A. in English from Regis College in 1948. She was a forty-five year summer resident of Conomo Point in Essex.
She was employed at Brown Brothers Harriman in Boston, where she retired as Head of the Tax Dept. An avid golfer, she was an expert knitter and enjoyed traveling with her family.
She is survived by her six children, Dr. James Dolph and his wife, Linda of Albany, NY, Michael Dolph of Beverly, Mary Jane Given and her husband, Peter of Ridgefield, CT, Anthony Dolph and his wife, Mary of Pepperell, Patricia Fallon and her husband, Michael of S. Hamilton and Sarah Mahan and her husband, James of Holden; twelve beloved grandchildren, Caitlyn, Alex, Janice, Julia, Anastasia, Daniel, Alexandria, Christina, Caroline, Nicholas, Thomas and Cecilia and two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Savannah.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, Cabot St., Beverly at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Friday in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot Street, Beverly from 4 – 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made in her memory to the Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923. Interment will be held in the Spring Street Cemetery, Essex.
