Obituary

Boxford: Patricia A. (Denis) Donhauser, age 69 died unexpectedly Sunday, February 13, 2011 at the Beverly Hospital. She was the devoted wife of Willibald W. Donhauser.

Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Juliette (LaBrie) Denis, and spent her childhood surrounded by her many aunts, uncles and cousins. Pat was a graduate of St. James High School Class of ’59. Following her graduation, she attended computer school. At a young age Patty was employed as an IBM operator at city hall in Beverly and later in Boston. She met Willie at a family wedding and the couple married in 1966 and moved to Hamilton where they lived happily for 42 years with their three loving children, great neighbors and many friends. She and Willie moved to Boxford from Hamilton in 2008.

Pat enjoyed attending all family sporting events, as well as getting together with family and friends for cookouts and playing cards. Her presence and humor was unlike any other and she will be missed by all who came in contact with her. Her gentle smile, roaring laughter and ability to show genuine unbiased love for all will be long remembered. Her life would seem far too short by many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.

In addition to her husband Willie, she is survived by her children, Peter J. Donhauser of Danvers, Juliet L. Morse and her husband Jason of Topsfield, Paul E. Donhauser and his wife Elizabeth of Boxford, a brother, Ronald A. Denis of Lake City, FL, 4 grandchildren, Taylor & Nicole Morse and Alixandre & Drew Donhauser. She is also survived by her cousins, Linda, Joyce, Robert, Cindi, Terry, Marie, Paula, Michael, Ricky & Jackie, and her grand-pets Jackson & Cocoa. She was predeceased by her aunts & uncles, Robert, Armand, Rene, Romeo, Violette, Dorothy, Willamine and Mary.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral mass on Friday, February 18, 2011 at 9 a.m. in St. Paul Church, 50 Union St., Hamilton. A committal service will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
