SPENCER; Mrs. Marie K. (Golden) White 88 of Howe Village, formerly of 6 Church St., died Wednesday Jan. 7 at home. Her husband of 46 years, George F. White, died in 1984. She leaves three sons Michael G. (wife Joy) and Peter K. (wife Patricia) both of Spencer, and Patrick J. (wife Karen) White of Worcester, seven grandsons Major Timothy P. White of Kansas City, Missouri, Sean M. White of Sterling, Christopher P. White of Hingham, Stephen P. and Kevin M. White of Worcester, James R. and Patrick G. White of Spencer, two grandaughters, Meghan M. White of Spencer and Kelly M. White of Worcester, a great grandaughter Emily Marie White of Kansas City, Missouri. Two brothers Edward Golden of Ludlow and Bernard Golden of Orleans, two sisters Eileen Fillion and Elizabeth Gaviglio of Ludlow and many neices and nephews. She is predeceased by three brothers, John, William Jr. and Paul Golden and a sister Grace O'Connor. She was born in the Red Bridge section of Ludlow the daughter of William J. and Maryellen (Bowler) Golden and moved to Spencer in 1936. She graduated from Ludlow High School in 1933. She was Sacristan and Choir member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Spencer for over 50 years, as well as a soloist for many churches in Spencer and the Brookfields. She was Past President of the Holy Family League of Charity, Past President of Our Lady of the Rosary Women's Guild and once served on the Parish Council. Mrs. White along with her husband served Our Lady of the Rosary Parish for over 60 years. The funeral will be held Saturday Jan. 10 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr.,Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will be in Mary,Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer.
