Stasia S. "Sally" (Sysko) Laskowski, 96, of 751 School St., passed away Monday, February 14, 2011 at Lanessa Extended Care.
Her husband, Stanley Laskowski died June 6, 1981.
She leaves two sisters; Irene Beresik of Dudley and Rose Piasta of Webster.
She also leaves nieces and caregivers, Marge Milas of Webster and Cheryl Milas of Worcester and several other nieces and nephews.
Sally was born in Dudley, a daughter of John and Anna ( Bieniewicz) Sysko and lived in the Webster-Dudley area all of her life.
She worked at the former Webster Shoe and the former Bates Shoe Co.
Sally was a member of St. Joseph's Basilica, enjoyed bingo and also enjoyed a game of pitch.
The family would like to "Thank" the entire staff at Lanessa for their compassion and support given to Sally in her time there.
The Funeral will be Thursday, February 17, 2011 with a Mass at 10AM in St. Joseph's Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery.
There will be a calling hour on Thursday from 8:45AM to 9:45AM prior to the Mass at the Robert J. Miller Funeral Home and Lake Chapel, 366 School St.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to: St. Joseph's Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St., or Lanessa Extended Care, Activities Fund, 751 School St., Webster, MA. 01570.
