Johnie W. Rineair, 69, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Tuesday, January 6, 2004, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.
Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M., Friday, January 9, 2004, at Evergreen Cemetery with full military honors. A prayer will be given by Dr. Tom Mann. Visitation will be from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Rineair was born August 11, 1934, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Arthur Jackson “Bob” and Martha Ellis Rineair. He moved back to Fitzgerald in 1972 after his retirement as SMSgt from the United States Army, serving during the Korean War era and in Vietnam. After his retirement he worked as a Brick mason and was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Rineair is survived by his wife: Judith Brown Rineair, Fitzgerald; one daughter: Janna J. Miracle, Fitzgerald; two sons: Jeffery R. Rineair and Johnie W. Rineair, II, both of Fitzgerald; six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; one sister: Mary McCook, Fitzgerald
