Obituary

Ingrid A. (Israelson) Granath, 88, died Tuesday, January 6, 2004, in Holden Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband, Erik B. Granath (1953) and a daughter, Gladys M. Granath.

She leaves a son, John R. Granath, of Brooksville FL, a grandson, Erik Granath, of Brookfield, a granddaughter, Angela I. Granath of Wales, a great-grandson, Christopher S. Mulcahy of Wales, and a great-granddaughter, Chelly L. Granath of Leominster. She also leaves a niece, G. Vivian Berg of Auburn, a nephew, Paul R. Israelson of Chapel Hill, NC, and a nephew, Harold A. Graden of Havertown, PA; and many grandnieces and grandnephews.

Mrs. Granath was born in Worcester, daughter of John and Augusta (Aberg) Israelson. She was predeceased by sisters Olga and Grace, brother, S. Helge Israelson, and a sister Gunhild M Mattson, and nephew J. David Israelson. She also leaves dear friends and caring staff at Holden Nursing Home. Mrs. Granath was at one time employed by Handy Pad Co., Come PLay Products, and retired as Assistant Registrar of Voters for the City of Worcester.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., is directing arrangements.
