Carlos M. Ramos, 61, of Hudson, formerly of Framingham, passed away surrounded by his loving family on February 11, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Paula (Valdez) Ramos.
Born in Guayama, Puerto Rico he was the son of the late Daniel and Ramona (Vasquez) Ramos. He was raised in Puerto Rico and came to the United States on June 6, 1965 settling in Framingham. Mr. Ramos was employed as a foreman for Aggregate Industries prior to retiring due to illness in November, 2009. The 3 most important things in his life were family; practicing as a Babalaw in the Ifa religion; and working hard.
He was the devoted father of Maria C. Ramos, Letty Ortiz, Elmo Ortiz, Oswaldo “Ozzie” Ortiz, and Heriberto “Eddie” Ortiz; cherished grandfather of Kelsey Ortiz, Alycia Febus, Alexandra Ortiz, Bryan Ortiz, Letty Faberlle, Vincent Girardi, Joseph Girardi, Jaime Girardi, Corey Lozada, Alexander Lozada, and Joseph Lozada; and dear brother of Jose Pagan, Daniel Ramos II, Pablo Ramos, Jose “Papo” Ramos, Daniel Ramos III, Moncha Pagan, Paula Ramos, Maria Ramos, and the late Miguel Ramos & Freddie Ramos.
Visiting hours will be held in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) NATICK on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A procession will form at the funeral home on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 10:00 AM and proceed to St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Framingham for burial.
