Obituary

LOWELL—Marilyn A. (Marcotte) Phillips, 70 years old, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died Saturday morning at the Town and Country Nursing Home, after a brief illness.

She was born in Lowell, on December 22, 1933, a daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Bell) Marcotte, and was the wife of the late Orrin Phillips, who died in 1965.She was a graduate of Lowell Public Schools, and was employed as a Stitcher by the Liberty Country Wear, in Lowell.

Surviving her are her five children and their spouses: Kathleen A. and Richard Baillargeon; Brenda M. and Joseph Stasio; Patricia E. and Stephen Metzler; Alan W. and Diane Phillips; and Carl T. and Kelley Phillips, all of Lowell; twenty grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Daryl B. Phillips, and sister of the late Celia Fitzharris, Jean Rusomanis and Elizabeth Dodge.

Friends may call Wednesday, January 7th, from 4 to 8 PM at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). Her Funeral Mass to be offered Thursday morning, January 8th, at 10 AM at ST. THERESA’S CHURCH, Dracut. Burial in the Lowell Cemetery.
