FALL RIVER...Yvone M. Samson, 90, of Fall River died Saturday, January 3, 2004 at St. Anne's Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Fall River daughter of the late Fortunat and Rose (Forand) Samson and resided in the city since 1978.
She was a communicant of the former St. Louis the King Church in Fall River. She was formerly employed by the former Lowestein Manufacturing of Fall River as a machine operator until her retirement. Mrs. Samson was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
Survivors include 1 brother: Raoul Samson of Dartmouth; several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Fidelia Vaillencourt, Alex, Real, Leo, Herve and Homer Samson.
Calling hours to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will Saturday from 8:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport at 10:0 A.M.
Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
