Paul E. Monroe died suddenly December 20, 2010. He was 53 years of age. Son of the late Harold and Jean (Ulbricht) Monroe. Beloved uncle and honorary godfather to Jack Chard Strojny. Survived by an aunt and several cousins. He also leaves many dear friends. Born and raised on Long Island, NY, Mr. Monroe graduated high school there, and attended Muhlenberg College in PA before training as a tax preparer with H&R Black. He moved to MA in the early 1980s and established a thriving tax preparation business. He was beloved by his many clients. He lived in Weymouth for many years before relocating to Taunton 2 years ago. Mr. Monroe was an avid golfer and a seasoned traveler, and he was a lover of all things Looney Tunes and Disney. He spent many years on WBZ radio and WCVB television offering tax advice, and he authored a popular monthly tax newsletter entailed The Tax Weasel. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 12th at 11 AM at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 906 North Main Street, Brockton, Ma.
