Obituary

In Taunton, February 10, 2011 Eleanor M. Sullivan age 84, passed away after a period of failing health in Morton Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph Vincent Sullivan. Eleanor was born in Somerville, MA to her late parents Frank & Edith (Cantell) Finlay. She has lived in Raynham for the past 51 years. Eleanor was a former ombudsman and housewife. She was member of the Red Hat Society, former activities director for the Raynham Housing Authority. She also enjoyed doing crafts,sweet Adeline and loved spending time with family and above all cherished her grandchildren. Eleanor leaves her children; Michael Sullivan & his wife Robin of Bridgewater, Denis Sullivan & his wife Ann of East Taunton and Terry Sullivan & his wife Carol of New Bedford. Her siblings Nancy Gaines of Dedham, Carol Costello of Quincy, Richard Finlay of MD and Frank Finlay of PA. and the late David, Peter, Donald, Marylyn Josephine. Her grandchildren;Lindsey, Patrick, Jillian, Elizabeth, Sean, Quinn and three great grandchildren; Adam, Eve and Isaac and several nieces and nephews. A sister in-law Marie Sullivan of Dedham. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. in Taunton, MA 02780 on Monday, Feb. 14th at 11:30am Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann’s Church in Raynham at 12:30am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sun. from 7-9pm. Burial will be in Pleasant St. Cemetery in Raynham.
