Regina Marie Ward Batten, age 37, of Willacoochee, GA passed away at St. Joseph’s/Candler Hospital, Savannah, GA on February 10, 2011. Mrs. Batten was born on February 2, 1974 in Moncks Corner, SC. She was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2011 in the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home at 4:00 p.m. with burial following in the Douglas City Cemetery. Survivors include: husband: Stacey Batten, Willacoochee, daughters: Courtney, Batten, Megan Batten and Joni Batten all of Willacoochee; brothers: Adam (Tammy) Ward, Summerville, SC; Benji Ward (Rachael) Summerville, SC; parents: W. H. and Diane Ward of Summerville, SC. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Sims Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
