DUDLEY - Ernestine B. “Tina” (Feig) Lapierre, 83, died Wednesday, February 9, 2011 in Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge. Her husband of 53 years, Delphis Lapierre, died in 2003.
She leaves a son, James R. Lapierre and his wife Julia A. Lapierre of Landaff, NH; a daughter, Ann M. Lapierre with whom she lived; 4 grandchildren, Katrina A. Hamilton and her husband Gary, Kerri A. Glidden, Karin A. Bradstreet and her husband Paul, and Alice M. Lapierre; 10 great grandchildren; a brother, Henry Feig and his wife Rachel Feig of Webster; nieces and nephews. She also leaves her daughter’s dear cocker spaniel K. C. Boy.
She was born and raised in Webster, the daughter of Henry and Pauline (Miller) Feig. She lived in Easthampton for 4 years before moving to Dudley in 1976. She graduated from Bartlett High School in Webster in 1946.
Mrs. Lapierre first worked as a teller at the Webster Five Cents Savings Bank. After raising her family, she was the secretary at Morse Realty in Webster for several years.
She was a member of Saint Anthony of Padua Church. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and sewing. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
A memorial Mass will be held in Saint Anthony of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Road, at a later date. There are no calling hours. Donations in her name may be made to Saint Anne Elementary School Tuition Aid Program, 12 Day St., PO Box 818, Webster, MA 01570-0818. Arrangements are under the direction of the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster.
